Current SSYC Leadership

For over 47 years, SSYC has been providing its members and guests a long tradition of fun, friendliness, and camaraderie through its sailing, cruising, racing and social programs.

Our club offers several classes of membership that fit everyone's needs, budget, and level of involvement. Our calendar is filled with boating related events such as sailboat regattas, organized cruising, and social activities such as the Commodore's Ball, Opening Day, Holiday Parties, Boat Parades, and many others. SSYC is the proud sponsor and host of the popular Hibachi Series (Summer and Winter Regatttas) as well as the Crew of Two Around Catalina races.

SSYC is a fully accredited organization with memberships to US Sailing, Southern California Yachting Association (SCYA) , Yacht Racing Union of Southern California, and the Association of Orange Coast Yacht Clubs (AOCYC).

Through our affiliation with the Newport Beach Yacht Club (NBYC), our members enjoy the use of a full service clubhouse and facilty in Southern California. We are located at 1099 Bayside Drive, Newport Beach, California.
